The MOS Newsletter is published twice annually to inform members of upcoming meetings and birding events. The editors invite you to participate by submitting articles or photographs for possible publication in the newsletter. Topics suitable for articles include birding trips (including out-of-state trips), birding locales, life bird experiences, special birding events, and any interesting story or information about birds or bird behavior.
Photos can be submitted for documentation or sheer enjoyment. Remember that documentation photos do not need to be works of art–just sharp enough to identify unusual sightings.
Articles may be sent in any time of the year, but if you would like it to appear in a specific issue, then it must be sent in on the following deadline dates. Summer issue articles for upcoming Fall Meeting are due June 30th. Winter issue articles for upcoming Spring Meeting are due January 31st.
