From Ben Coffey’s and Bill Turcotte’s early recordings to Gene Knight’s ears, MOS has a rich history of listening to and documenting bird sounds. Most recently MOS recordists are contributing to a bioacoustics collection in partnership with the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. A selection of these recordings are shown here.
